Easy Street is the premier local Driving School in Santa Barbara County and we are hiring Driving Instructors who truly desire to make a difference in the lives of the people they teach. We are committed to serving our community as well as cultivating community among our amazing Driving Instructors and Office Staff.

Since 2012, Easy Street Driving School has been making the process of learning to drive as "Easy" as possible… for our students and their family.

About This Role:
This role is open to those living in Goleta, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria only.

In a company-provided vehicle, you will impart knowledge and guidance to students, helping them grasp the essential skills of driving from behind the steering wheel.

No need to fret, we'll support you in acquiring the mandatory state-issued driving instructor certification through our fully-funded training program.

Every instructional session takes place in an Easy Street car and is systematically documented with a dashboard camera to ensure the safety of both you and your student.

When you become part of the Easy Street team as a driving instructor, you'll have the flexibility to choose full or part-time. Please consider that the highest demand for driving lessons typically falls during afternoons and weekends, aligning with our students' school schedules. A typical workday involves conducting three two-hour lessons, with compensated travel time included.

About you:

Skills and Experience

No driving instructor experience necessary. We will train you.

Minimum of 25 years of age.

A valid California Drivers License with a clean driving record.

A HS diploma or GED equivalent and a social security card.

Professional appearance.

Ability to connect with teenagers as well as drivers of any age.

Fun yet professional.

Friendly yet proficient.

Patient yet structured.
