Dylan Duncan’s Bio Continued…
“Dylan has always loved helping people. His passion for solving problems and teaching led him to earn a degree in criminal justice to pursue a future career in law enforcement. Growing up, Dylan enjoyed finding different ways to explain how to do something until it made sense to the person he was teaching. Dylan continues to use his problem solving skills to adapt to each one of the students he teaches. "Everybody is different. Part of being a good instructor is being able to answer the question, 'What do I need to say differently to help this student understand this concept better?' For me, being able to successfully answer that question can be a very rewarding thing."
Thoughts on Being a Driving Instructor: "Because driving can be such a dangerous thing, it’s totally normal for my students to get nervous. I love the idea that I can help ease their anxiety or even help them overcome a tendency to panic. Once they do that, it’s only a matter of time and practice for them to learn to drive safely. Not only that, I love the idea that if I'm good at my job, I know that it will truly make a difference in people's lives."
Favorite Past Times: "My top hobby right now is freshwater bass fishing. I also enjoy playing the guitar, and I get pretty serious about competitive gaming!"
Favorite Ice Cream: “Most people freak out when I tell them that I don't really like ice cream that much. When I do choose to get ice cream, I get a small amount of cookies and cream."
Favorite Game: Spikeball
